e.g. 1.909, 3.20
e.g. 10/11, 11/4
%
e.g. 52.4

What each format means

American (US): negative shows what you risk to win $100 (favorite); positive shows what you win on $100 (underdog).

Decimal (EU/AU): total return per $1 staked, including the original wager. 1.909 means $1 returns $1.91.

Fractional (UK): profit-to-stake ratio. 10/11 means stake $11 to win $10. Some books call this "5/4" or "7/2".

Implied probability: 100 ÷ decimal. -110 implies 52.4%. The two sides of a market always sum to over 100% — that excess is the book's hold.

decimal = (american ≥ 100) ? american/100 + 1 : 100/|american| + 1
implied % = 100 / decimal
